Our Procedures
You may have heard of preventative dental care, but did you know we also provide reconstructive, restorative, and cosmetic services? It’s a win-win situation when you come to Eagan Children Dentistry in Eagan for your child’s teeth & oral health

Preventative Dentistry
At Eagan Children Dentistry, we take your dental checkups seriously. Every six months, we measure your gums, check for plaque traps, inspect for cracks and detect hidden decay and even suspicious lesions and sore spots.

Fillings
Tooth fillings are used to fill the indentation left in a tooth when a cavity is removed. If the decayed portion isn’t removed, the tooth will continue to deteriorate and will eventually fall out or have to be removed. A dental filling will restore the surface of the tooth and its function.

Root Canals
Sometimes the pulp inside a tooth becomes infected. When this happens, the infection must be removed with root canal therapy (also called endodontic therapy) to save the tooth.

Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a common cosmetic dentistry procedure that provides effective results to brighten stained or dull teeth. According to the FDA, whitening restores natural tooth color and bleaching whitens beyond the natural color.

Oral Hygiene
Dental hygiene starts from home but can also be greatly helped with the advice of our board-certified pediatric dentist.

Crowns
When cavities are large or your child’s tooth is badly damaged, traditional fillings may not be enough. A dental crown is a custom-made artificial tooth cap that completely covers a chipped, cracked or damaged tooth.

Dental Restoration
When a tooth is damaged due to decay or fracture, fillings could be needed to help prevent further pain and to restore function. If needed, your dentist may recommend getting a dental crown to provide more protection to the tooth, in situations where the tooth is severely fractured or broken.

Emergency Care
If you are experiencing unexpected dental situation during regular office hours, call our office at (651-808-5252). We will do our best to see you as soon as possible. We help you to get out of pain and plan next steps to resolve your issue.
